To open IVRC, press <Alt M> ("Menu") and follow the Menu path illustrated below, then press <Enter>, or simply enter <IVRC> in the "Enter Program Name" field and press <Enter>.
This program works similarly to "Wastebasket" in other software systems. It is set up in SYS, Config File, Change Misc. Configurations, number 2004, "Archive deleted spl orders & inv items? Y/N." Manually deleted items and items deleted by history roll will be retained for possible future re-entry.
Note: By accessing IVM ("Inventory Maintenance") or IVSO ("Special Orders") through this IVRC program, the options screen will provide an "Undelete" option.
Locate the item through IVI ("Inventory Inquiry") by selecting the "Inventory Masterfile" option or though IVSI ("Special Order Inquiry") by selecting the "Special Order File" option. When you have located the item and brought up the item in IVM or IVSO, select <F5> for options, and select the "Undelete" option.
A message, "Successfully Undeleted Item is now in your inventory file!" or "Successfully Undeleted Special Order is now Restored!", will be displayed. Press <Esc> until you exit the program.
Note: If an item is deleted a second time, the latest deletion will replace the previous deletion.
