COMM – COMMUNICATIONS

Use the COMM program to access "FIDO" for communicating with Bookstore Manager Software’s BBS and the optional Electronic Communication programs for transmitting orders to vendors.

FIDO is a program that allows you to download/upload file(s) from Bookstore Manager’s BBS.  Our BBS uses Wildcat! and supports 2400 bps to 33,600 bps connect rates.  Before using this program you will need to set up your store’s unique settings in SYS, Config File, Change Misc. Configurations, number 7010.

To open COMM, press <Alt M> ("Menu") and follow the Menu path illustrated below, then press <Enter>, or simply enter <COMM> in the "Enter Program Name" field and press <Enter>.
