Combine two mailing list (Multi-Store only)
Multi-stores only have the option of combining two mailing list together. Copy the mailing list file Names.002 at store #2 to disk. If you want to include tracking information, also copy file Trakcomb.002. Install in the BOOK directory on store #1 hard drive, then run MLUL #1 = Combine (2) lists (Multi-Store only) to combine the two list. Combined file will be Names.001. Copy store #1 file Names.001 and take to store #2. Restore in the BOOK directory. Delete Names.002, then rename Names.001 to Names.002. Do the same for each store, only wait until you have all stores combined on store #1 before you copy to take to other stores. See instructions for Multi-Store Utilities.
If the area code in your area has changed to another number, you may change the area code on your mailing list by running MLUL #2 = Change an Area Code. Enter the new area code and the prefixes affected. You may enter as many as ten prefixes.
Will move current dollar and current transaction amounts to last year dollar and last year transaction amounts. The total dollar and total transactions will not be affected.
The tracking detail may be purged from the mailing list by choosing Option 4 on MLUL. Enter the oldest tracking day to keep on file. This will permanently remove tracking records older than the input date.
Combine Tracking (Multi Store Only)
Will combine the tracking records of multi stores. Will be the same as in Combine two mailing lists except you will copy the file TRAKCOMB.002, etc.
