Technical Support: Not a valid tty

If you are trying to disable a tty port and get the message "Not a valid tty" try to relink the kernel with the following command.

At the # prompt type:

/etc/conf/cf.d/link_unix <Press Enter>

You will be asked two questions, answer yes to both.
