The INGRAM, INGRAM.EXE and INGRAM32.EXE programs allow you to send an order to Spring Arbor or Ingram using Ingram’s Flashback specification. If you need to set a unique maximum baud rate or change other connection features, click on “Action | Configure Device” as described in the electronic ordering introduction. |
The Ingram32.exe program shows you the detail information on the currently prepared electronic order. The left side of the screen has some troubleshooting tips. If this is the correct order, click the “Send an Order” button. If you need to request a previous acknowledgment, click the “Request Confirmation Only” button. If you need to send your SoundScan information, click the “Send Sound Scan Data” button. After you receive your confirmation, the acknowledgment details will be shown in the “Confirmation Details” section. The text box on the left side of the screen will show any message that the Flashback system sends at the end of your acknowledgment.
Once you have sent the order and received the acknowledgment, use the IVIC program in BSMGR to process the electronic acknowledgment.
