1 = Title Listing

Enter the number of the Option you want to Print.

<Esc> - Exits the program.

Note:

1 - Prints video list in alphabetical order by title. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, and run-time)

2 - Prints video list in alphabetical order by title. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, run-time, cost, total fees, date purchased, current rentals, and total rentals)

3 - Prints video list in numerical order by video tape number. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, and run-time)

4 - Prints video list in numerical order by video tape number. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, run-time, cost, total fees, date purchased, current rentals, and total rentals)

5 - Prints video list in numerical order by total rents. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, run-time, cost, total fees, date purchased, current rentals, and total rentals)

6 - Prints video list in alphabetically order by title. (will print the running time and title, four columns to a page)

7 - Prints list of video tapes that have not been returned in numerical order by video number. (includes video #, video title, member's number, date checked out, date due, member's name, address, and phone number)

8 - Choosing to print individual labels will print labels for specific video tapes. You may enter the number of labels you want printed for each video. (includes video #, title, category description, rental fee, and running time in minutes.)

Choosing to print an entire video category or all videos will print one label for each video #. When you are first labeling your videos, you will need to print twice because you will need one label for the original video tape box and one label for the carry-out box. (includes video #, title, category description, rental fee, and running time in minutes.)

VIP #1 = Title Listing

After choosing Option #1 = Title Listing, the following window will be displayed:

Enter the category number you wish to print or press <Enter> to print all videos. The category description will be displayed or "All" for all videos.

All OK? Y/N/C

"N" will allow you to change category entered.

"C" will cancel and exit the program.

"Y" will accept the information and print the report. Prints video list in alphabetical order by title. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, and run-time)

 

VIP #2 = Title Listing; Add’l Info

Enter the category number you want to print or press <Enter> to print all videos. The category description will be displayed or "All" for all videos.

All OK? Y/N/C

"N" will allow you to change category entered.

"C" will cancel and exit the program.

"Y" will accept the information and print the report. Prints video list in alphabetical order by title. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, run-time, cost, total fees, date purchased, current rentals, and total rentals)

 

VIP #3 = Numeric Listing

Enter the category number you want to print or press <Enter> to print all videos. The category description will be displayed or "All" for all videos.

All OK? Y/N/C

"N" will allow you to change category entered.

"C" will cancel and exit the program.

"Y" will accept the information and print the report. Prints video list in numerical order by video tape number. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, and run-time)

 

VIP #4 = Numeric Listing; Add’l Info.

Enter the category number you want to print or press <Enter> to print all videos. The category description will be displayed or "All" for all videos.

All OK? Y/N/C

"N" will allow you to change category entered.

"C" will cancel and exit the program.

"Y" will accept the information and print the report. Prints video list in numerical order by video tape number. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, run-time, cost, total fees, date purchased, current rentals, and total rentals)

 

VIP #5 = Sort by Rentals

Enter the category number you want to print or press <Enter> to print all videos. The category description will be displayed or "All" for all videos.

All OK? Y/N/C

"N" will allow you to change category entered.

"C" will cancel and exit the program.

"Y" will accept the information and print the report. Prints video list in numerical order by total rents. (includes video #, title, category # and description, retail price, rental fee, run-time, cost, total fees, date purchased, current rentals, and total rentals)

 

VIP #6 = Handouts

Enter the category number you want to print or press <Enter> to print all videos. The category description will be displayed or "All" for all videos.

All OK? Y/N/C

"N" will allow you to change category entered.

"C" will cancel and exit the program.

"Y" will accept the information and print the report. Prints video list in alphabetically order by title. (will print the running time and title, four columns to a page)

 

VIP #7 = Who Has Videos

A message will be displayed:

Limit to Delinquent Videos? Y/N _

"Y" will limit the report to videos that have not been returned by the due date.

"N" will print a list of all videos that are checked out.

Either report will print a list of video tapes that are checked out/delinquent in numerical order by video number. (includes video #, video title, member's number, date checked out, date due, on one line, then member's name, address, and phone number on the next line.)

 

VIP #8= Labels

Brings up the following message:

Print Video Labels

Message

Delete Previous Batch of Labels? Y/N Y

 

"Y" Enter "Y" or press <Enter> and the previous batch of labels will be deleted. (Defaults to "Y")

"N" Enter "N" and the previous batch of labels will be deleted.

Note: Normally you will want to delete the previous batch of labels. But you may print or reprint the previous batch of labels if you enter "N". If you exit the Print Video Label options with out printing, when you choose to go back to Option 8 for labels, you will need to answer "N" so you may print the labels. Also, a list of videos chosen to be printed may be appended, then all printed at once.

The following screen will be displayed:

3 = All Videos

4 = Print Labels

You will have to choose which labels you want to print.

 

1 = Individual Video Labels

Print Video Labels

Enter Video Tape Number :[0060] YEARLING

Enter the Video Tape Number for which you want to print labels. The title of the video will be displayed.

Enter the number of video labels you want to print. Enter "1" or Press <Enter> for only one label. (Defaults to 1) If more than one label is needed, enter the correct number and press <Enter>. Cursor will go back to the Video Number so you may enter other video numbers for which you want to print labels. After entering all the video numbers for which you want to print labels, press <Esc> to exit back to the Video Print Options. This creates a file which allows you to print the labels using Option #4.

 

2 = Entire Video Category

After choosing Option #2 = Entire Video Category, the following window will be displayed:

Enter the category number for which you wish to print labels or press <Enter> to print labels for all videos. The category description will be displayed or "All" for all videos.

"N" will allow you to change category entered.

"C" will cancel and exit back to the Print Video Labels options.

"Y" will accept the information and create a file which allows you to print the labels using Option #4.

 

3 = All Videos

Choosing Option #3 will create a file which allows you to print the labels using Option #4.

 

4 = Print Labels

After choosing the video labels you wish to print using Options #1, #2, or #3, you may print the chosen labels using Option #4. You may print a test pattern to help line up the labels on dot matrix printers. On laser printers, you choose which label on the page to begin printing, and you will be told how many labels there are to be printed and how many pages of labels needed.
