THE MENU SYSTEM
There are two different menu systems that may be used to operate Bookstore Manager. Menu System Number 1 is a command menu system Menu System 2 is a window menu system. You may switch from one menu to the other by entering "MENU" at a select option prompt.
Menus are nothing more than help screens. You may call any menu at any time by entering the appropriate function key:
F1 - Will call up the ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MENU
F2 - Will call up the INVENTORY MENU
F3 - Will call up the ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MENU
F4 - Will call up the SALES MENU
F5 - Will call up the MAILING LIST/VIDEO RENTAL MENU
F6 - Will call up the GENERAL LEDGER MENU
F8 - Will call up the MISCELLANEOUS MENU
You may call any individual program from any menu by entering the appropriate letters for a program. Example: "ARM" for Add/Change/Delete Cust. in Accounts Receivable.
The "Window" menu system may also be operated by selecting the particular program in the window by highlighting the program and pressing <Enter>.
Menu System 2 is the default menu system. To make Menu System 1 the default menu system change the following line in the batch file that will call Bookstore Manager.
