MENU BAR
For some users a Menu Bar will always be present at the top of the screen. For others the Menu Bar must be brought up each time you wish to use it. This depends on the type of monitor you have at the Point of Sale or other Workstation.
DOS Users: To select one of the options on the Menu Bar, press Alt, then the underlined letter of the option. Example: "Alt P" highlights Programs and activates the Menu Bar. To de-activate the Menu Bar press "Esc". If you are using the mouse in DOS, then just click the menu options you wish to use. To "Esc" you must double-click the right mouse button.
For those who use MENU-STYLE 1 you must press Alt F1 to bring up the MENU BAR, then select the program you need. When you press <Esc> to leave the program, the Menu Bar disappears.
UNIX Users: To activate the Menu Bar, Press "CTRL F1". Arrow to program wanted, arrow down to highlight program wanted, and press <Enter>. Press <Esc> to exit.
