DIAG #1 = File Assignments

The File Assignments utility shows if the proper settings have been made to the system. This will show the file assignments for the workstation and the printer set up for that station

DIAG #’s 2 =Inventory Masterfile Size, 3 = Mailing List Masterfile Size, and 4 = Special Order File Size

Checks and displays the respective files for number of records, # of deleted records, file size, record size, etc. Also, close to the bottom of the screen, it shows the user count. If the user count is greater than zero, that indicates the number of times the program has been exited improperly. This could mean that the file is corrupt and could eventually cause a file error which would shut down the program until the files have been rebuilt.

DIAG #5 = Copy New Programs

For UNIX and XENIX users only. Use this utility when copying new programs.

DIAG #’s 6, 7, and 8

Rebuilds the respective files. Use this utility when you see the user count is greater than zero, or you have a file error #98 in that particular program.

DIAG #9 = Copy New Files

For UNIX and XENIX users only. Use this utility when copying new files.
