CREATE ARKANSAS BOOK DISTRIBUTOR DATABASE

ARKANSAS DATABASE

The Arkansas Book Distributor Database may be installed and added to the IVDI Data Base Inquiry Program. Obtain the file from the Arkansas Book Distributor and install in the BOOK Directory using the filename

DOSTM.DAT

Then at a Select Option Prompt in BSMGR, type: MISCDATA <Enter>

The following screen is shown:

Press <F4> to Create the Arkansas Book Distributor Database.

Press <Esc> to Exit the program without the database being created.

After the Arkansas Book Distributor Database is created it may be accessed using the IVDI Database Inquiry program.

Type IVDI at a Select Option Prompt, press <Enter>, and choose Option #6 = Other #2.
The items in the Arkansas Book Distributor Database will be listed in the same format as the BSMGR Database and may be looked up the same way execept it will NOT look up by Category or Word.
The Arkansas Book Distributor Database will NOT have the Options <F4> for Additional Information or <F6> for Catagory/Subject Abreviation.
