IVSI - SPECIAL ORDER INQUIRY

<Esc> = Exit - Will exit the program.

Enter Run

1 - Allows special orders to be located by customer name. It is important that you enter the names of the customers in the same way.
Example: Last name, First name. Smith, John

The customers' names will appear in alphabetical order.

2 - Allows special orders to be located by title of item.

The titles will appear in alphabetical order.

3 - Allows special orders to be located by item #.

The items will appear in numerical order. The item number is not listed on the screen.

4 - Allows all special order items that are not on order to be reviewed.
If an item is a rush item "R U S H" will appear in the P.O. field for that item.

 

IVSI #1 = Customer Name

Enter the name and press <Enter>. A list special orders alphabetical by name will be shown.

This list will be in alphabetical order by Customer Name.
You may tell by the STS (Status) if an item is (O)n order, (B)ack order, (C)anceled, (R)eceived, on (H)old, (N)ot yet printed, or (U)navailable.
If the purchase order field is blank, the item has not been ordered.

<Enter> for window to bring up special order screen to view or to change information.
<Esc> for Menu will take you back to the IVSI menu options.
<Pg Dn> to search for other orders.
<Pg Up> to search through orders previously displayed.

If there is an asterisk by the status code "R" you will know that only part of the order has been received. You will need to highlight order and press <Enter> to display order and manually change the status code to a "C" and the amount to order the amount NOT received, so that the rest of the order will be ordered. Be sure and (S)ave the changes.

 

IVSI #2 = By Title

Enter the title and press <Enter>. A list of special orders alphabetically by title will be shown. Applications are the same as the list by name.

IVSI #3 = By Item #

Enter the item number and press <Enter>. A list of special orders numerical by item number will be shown. The item number will not be shown on the screen. If an item number is not on order, it will go to the next numerical item number on order. Applications are the same as the list by name.

 

IVSI #4 = Items Not On Order

All special orders that are not on order will be listed in numerical order by Control Number. If an item is a rush item,

*R U S H* will be shown in the P.O. field for that item. If the P.O. field is blank, the item has never been ordered. If a P.O. number is in the P.O. field, the item has been ordered on that P.O. but has been canceled. Applications are the same as the list by Customer Name.
