IVHT #1 = Entire Inventory

To be included on the "HOT SELLING NEW ITEMS" list, an item must have been in the store for less than 120 days. The "HOT SELLING NEW ITEMS" list is generated through the parameters set up in the <SYS>tem Config File, #5 Misc. Configurations, Line #211 = Hot List Parameters (01,10,15,20,25).

Example: 01,13,15,17,20

The first number means that at least one unit must be sold to be eligible to be on the hot list.

The second, third, fourth and fifth numbers correspond to how long the item has been in stock, 30, 60, 90 or 120 days. If an item has been in stock 30 days it must have sold at least 1.3 times its stocking level to show up on the hot list. If an item has been in stock 60 days it must have sold 1.5 times its stocking level. If an item has been in stock 90 days it must have sold 1.7 times its stocking level and if an item has been in stock 90 to 120 days it must have sold 2.0 times its stocking level to appear on the "HOT SELLING NEW ITEMS" list.

After choosing Option #1, "Now Being Generated" will be displayed. The list will be displayed to the screen.

Options: <Page Up> <Page Down> <Enter> (P)rint <Esc>

<Page Up/Down> Allows you to view all contents of file.
<Enter> Will display the item’s inventory maintenance screen. May check information and/or make changes.
(P)rint Press "P" and the list will be printed.
<Esc> Exits program.

 

IVHT #2 = Entire Inventory (Lock File Fastest!)

This Option is the same as Option #1 except that it locks the inventory file and no one else can access the file. This option runs faster than Option #1. Report is the same.
