BALANCE SHEET-shows a list of assets and liabilities.
There are two balance sheet programs.

- "GLBS" = General Ledger Balance Sheet

The GLBS gives the current balance only.

The GLBS may be run as many times as you wish before Set Up For New Month "GLS" is run.

- "GLCB" = General Ledger Comparative Balance

The GLCB allows comparison of current period, previous month, and previous year's balance.
If accounts have been deleted, the balance sheet may become out of balance for previous month and last year totals.
When this happens, the "out of balance" will be adjusted in the retained earnings account so the balance sheet will "appear" balanced.
For this reason, it is recommended that this report be an in-house report only unless thoroughly reviewed.

The GLCB is a non-menu item but it may still be run.

The GLCB may be run as many times as you wish before Set Up For New Month "GLS" is run.
