GLPJ - GENERAL JOURNAL PRINT

To open GLPJ, press <Alt M> ("Menu") and follow the Menu path illustrated below, then press <Enter>, or simply enter <GLPJ> in the "Enter Program Name" field and press <Enter>.

Enter the supervisory password to enter the program.

GLPJ prints the different journals to the screen  and, if in balance, will print a list of the entries made to each journal.  The screen display will appear as follows:

The status of each journal is displayed on screen.  If out of balance, the amount out of balance will be displayed.

The printed report will show all entries made in each journal and whether or not the journal is in balance.  If out of balance, the amount out of balance will be shown.

Note:   Two journals may be out of balance (one a credit amount and one a debit for the same amount) and the trial balance will balance.  This is OK.  This can happen when one journal is out of balance and you make the correcting entries in another journal.
