Starting with version 6.1 of Bookstore Manager Software, you can set up the computer's scheduler to run the inventory history roll (IVHR). This requires that the operating system has a built in scheduler. Unix, Windows NT, and Windows 98 have scheduling programs. The Plus! pack for Windows 95 includes a scheduler as well.
The IVHR program takes the following options:1 | Monthly History Roll (No inventory changes) |
20 | Monthly History Roll (Only Decrease stock levels based on month's sales) |
21 | Monthly History Roll (Increase or Decrease stock levels based on month's sales) |
3 | Weekly History Roll (No inventory changes) |
40 | Weekly History Roll (Only Decrease stock levels based on week's sales) |
41 | Weekly History Roll (Increase or Decrease stock levels based on week's sales) |
